Re: COVID-19 Updates: DPH Extends Deadline for Reporting of Historical Data; DPH Updates Memo on Defining Aerosol Generating Procedures and Recommended PPE; Reminder for Weekly DPH Call; HHS Announces Three New Approaches to Securing Funding
Date: August 4, 2020
In response to a request by Mass Senior Care Association, yesterday the DPH released the following information regarding an extension of the reporting of historical data into the REDCap system. We will continue to monitor this reporting requirement and encourage you to contact MSCA if you are experiencing reporting issues.
“The deadline to report your facility’s historical data into the REDCap system has been extended to Monday, August 10th at 11:59 p.m. As a reminder, you are required to enter new cases or deaths within 24 hours.
We understand that technical difficulties in the REDCap system have presented an obstacle to reporting historical data in a timely manner. Our teams have been working diligently to address these issues and provide facilities with adequate time to navigate the system. We’re appreciative of your patience and flexibility in adapting to the extended deadline.
While accessing the REDCap platform, your connection may be terminated or time out prior to establishing a stable connection. Users have reported this issue occurring only temporarily, and we anticipate this issue to resolve itself within a few moments. If this technical issue occurs for you, please try back again shortly and you will likely be able to connect.
Some things you can do when you have this problem:
- Refresh your browser window
- Close and re-open your browser
- Clear your browser's cache
- Restart your device
If you encounter further issues or have questions about reporting data in the REDCap system, please address follow-up questions to: DPH.BHCSQ@MassMail.State.MA.US.”
