Join colleagues from across the state at our 2018 Annual Meeting & Trade Show on Thursday, November 8th at the DCU Center in Worcester.  This year's theme, "Shaping the Future of Long Term Care: It's All About Quality," will feature keynote presentations from U.S. Congressman Richard Neal and Mark Parkinson, President & CEO, American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

The afternoon session will include a Department of Public Health Presentation on the Supportive Planning and Operation Team (SPOT) Program. Led by Katherine Fillo, Director of Clinical Quality Improvement at the Bureau of Health Care Safety and Quality, and Abt Associates Inc., this two-hour interactive learning session will present attendees with an overview of SPOT as well as lessons learned and best practices observed throughout the implementation of the initiative. Attendees will also hear first-hand from participating SPOT nursing home teams about the innovative performance improvement projects (PIPs) that they launched as part of SPOT. Nursing home staff will share their experiences, including what contributed to the success of their PIPs and what challenges they had to overcome, to provide attendees with quality improvement ideas that can be implemented in their facilities.

Online registration is not available and this meeting is open to Mass Senior Care Facility Members Only.
