VACCINE ALLOCATION
Initial doses of vaccine will be allocated to frontline workers, staff, and residents in long-term care facilities, with the goals of maximizing life preservation and supporting the state’s health care system.
In November, long term care providers were asked to enroll in this program and the CDC has been working with states and jurisdictions to match providers with pharmacies, based on their selections. Currently, pharmacy partners are in the process of confirming vaccination clinics with their matched facilities.
