THE ANNUAL NATIONAL OBSERVANCE OF FALLS PREVENTION AWARENESS DAY (FPAD) IS THE FIRST DAY OF FALL, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2019
Falls Prevention Awareness Day (FPAD) and the month of September is the perfect time for MA Falls Prevention Coalition members and partners to:
- show our commitment to the prevention of older adult falls and fall-related injuries
- raise the level of awareness on the many practical ways falls are preventable and how fall risks can be reduced
- host FPAD activities and events within our organizations and communities
Although this is the first year in a long time that MA Falls Prevention Coalition will not be holding our annual FPAD event at the State House in September, we hope many of our members are planning to do something to acknowledge FPAD next month.
